BMW road bikes covered in this category

This category covers BMW sportbikes and roadsters only: S1000RR superbike, S1000R naked, F900R roadster and F800R roadster. BMW GS adventure and trail bikes are listed in a separate category.

Models available in this hub:

  • BMW S1000RR – superbike, five fairing generations from 2008 to 2024+
  • BMW S1000R – naked roadster, three generations from 2014 to 2024+
  • BMW F900R – mid-range roadster, from 2020 (895cc parallel-twin, 105hp)
  • BMW F800R – mid-range roadster, 2015-2019 (90hp, inverted fork), succeeded by the F900R

For BMW adventure and enduro bikes (R1250GS, F900GS), see the dedicated BMW GS and adventure graphic kits category. The two ranges have entirely different fairing shapes and require separate template libraries.

Generation compatibility – which year fits which kit

BMW fairing shapes change significantly between generations, so a graphic kit for the S1000RR 2019-2022 is not compatible with the 2015-2018 version. Each kit from Stickers Project is made to the template of your exact generation.

BMW S1000RR – 5 fairing generations (2008-2024+)

  • Gen 1 (2008-2011) : original model, asymmetric headlights
  • Gen 2 (2012-2014) : minor fairing revisions, asymmetric headlights refined
  • Gen 3 (2015-2018) : aerodynamic redesign, symmetric LED headlights, air vents
  • Gen 4 (2019-2022) : full fairing overhaul, symmetric face, ShiftCam engine
  • Gen 5 (2023-2024+) : aero wings, taller bubble, redesigned tail – shared with M1000RR

Browse the S1000RR 2019-2022 graphic kit and the S1000RR 2023-2024 graphic kit pages to see available designs by generation.

BMW S1000R – 3 generations (2014-2024+)

  • Gen 1 (2014-2016) : 160hp naked, S1000RR chassis base
  • Gen 2 (2017-2020) : 165hp, 3kg lighter, anti-vibration bars revised
  • Gen 3 (2021+) : new naked bodywork, 165hp, S1000RR Gen 4 engine base

BMW F900R (2020-2024) and F800R (2015-2019)

The F900R runs from 2020 with one fairing generation to date. The F800R (2015-2019, inverted fork, 90hp) was its predecessor – the two models are separate references with different cut templates. The F900R 2020 graphic kit page lists all designs available for this model.

Made in France, tailored to your exact year

Each BMW graphic kit is produced to order in France using premium vinyl (3M, Hexis, Oracal, Avery Dennison grades), cut from a template specific to your model and year – not a generic fit-all approach.

Customisation options include colours, finishes (matte, gloss, metallic, chrome, holographic) and race numbers. A design mockup is validated before production starts. Kits are removable without residue on a clean fairing, making them a fully reversible personalisation option.

For BMW riders who also want a matching helmet, our helmet graphic kits category offers coordinated designs across the same finish and colour palette.

The sportbike and roadster graphic kits section is the parent category for all road bike models, covering brands beyond BMW.

Vinyl quality – materials and thickness

BMW graphic kits use automotive-grade vinyl at 200-300 microns for standard road use, up to 550 microns for the thickest finish and easier bubble-free application. UV-resistant lamination is standard across all kits.

Vinyl grades used: 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery Dennison. These are the same industry-reference materials used in automotive wrapping. At 200-300 microns, the film resists road debris, splashes and everyday wear. At up to 550 microns, the added thickness makes self-installation more forgiving on complex fairing curves. The UV laminate layer keeps colours stable over several years of outdoor use.

FAQ – BMW sportbike graphic kits

Which BMW sportbike models are covered in this category?

This category covers four BMW road model families: S1000RR superbike (five generations, 2008-2024+), S1000R naked roadster (three generations, 2014-2024+), F900R roadster (from 2020) and F800R roadster (2015-2019). BMW GS adventure and trail bikes are not part of this category.

Is the S1000RR 2015 graphic kit compatible with a 2019 model?

No. The S1000RR Gen 3 (2015-2018) and Gen 4 (2019-2022) have different fairing shapes. Each kit is cut to the template of a specific generation. A 2015 kit will not align correctly on a 2019 bike. Always select the generation that matches your model year.

Are there graphic kits available for the M1000RR?

The M1000RR (2021+) shares its fairing with the S1000RR Gen 5 (2023-2024+). Kits built on the Gen 5 template are compatible. Contact us to confirm fit on your exact year and confirm the M Motorsport colour scheme or fully custom option you have in mind.

What is the difference between a semi-custom and a fully custom kit?

A semi-custom kit uses an existing design template with colour changes only. A fully custom kit is built from scratch: colours, graphics, logos and layout are all defined by the customer. Both options include a design mockup validated before production starts.

Can you replicate the M Motorsport colours (blue, red, violet) on a custom kit?

Yes. The M Motorsport colour scheme (blue, red and violet) can be reproduced on any BMW model in this category. It can be applied as a full replica or used as a base for a custom variation – different finish, added race number or modified layout.

What vinyl thickness and brands do you use?

Kits use 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery Dennison vinyl. Standard road use: 200-300 microns. Premium finish: up to 550 microns for easier bubble-free self-installation. All kits include UV-resistant lamination as standard.

Can the graphic kit be self-installed without professional help?

Yes. Installation is accessible to a non-professional with a squeegee, cleaning spray and a heat source (hair dryer). Instructions are included with every order. For fairings with tight curves – particularly the S1000RR Gen 5 nose and aero wings – taking extra time or choosing professional installation avoids air bubbles and misalignment.

Is the kit removable without damaging the original fairings?

Yes. The vinyl is removable without residue on a clean fairing. Removal is best done slowly, at room temperature or with gentle heat. Fairings that have been painted or already wrapped should be tested on a small area first to confirm surface compatibility.
