Three X-ADV generations, three distinct body kits

The Honda X-ADV 750 has been produced in three distinct generations with non-interchangeable bodywork, meaning your graphics kit must be specified for the correct generation to achieve a perfect fit. Choosing the wrong generation results in misaligned cuts on the fairing panels.

First generation (2017-2020)

The original X-ADV ran on a 745 cc parallel twin producing 54 hp at 6,250 rpm, with halogen headlamps, an LCD instrument display and Euro 4 compliance. The bodywork from this generation is specific to the 2017-2020 model years and cannot be swapped with any later generation panel. Full graphics kit options for this period are available on the X-ADV 2017-2020 graphics kit page.

Second generation (2021-2024)

The 2021 X-ADV received a complete bodywork redesign alongside a Euro 5 engine upgrade: 58.6 hp at 6,750 rpm, ride-by-wire throttle, a 5-inch TFT colour display and four riding modes (Standard, Sport, Rain, Gravel). Fairing panels from 2021 onwards are entirely incompatible with first-generation templates. Browse designs on the X-ADV 2021-2024 graphics kit page.

Third generation (2025 onwards)

The 2025 X-ADV brings Euro 5+ compliance, a new dual-lens LED headlamp unit with integrated DRLs and turn signals, a five-position adjustable windscreen and USB-C charging. The front-end redesign means new panel templates are required for this generation. Kits for this generation are listed on the Honda ADV 2022 graphics kit page.

Made to order in France, fitted to your generation

Every X-ADV graphics kit is produced to order in France, using a template cut specifically for your generation and model year, in premium vinyl from leading manufacturers including 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery Dennison. This is not a pre-printed stock kit: production only begins once your design proof has been reviewed and approved.

Personalisation options cover colours, finishes (gloss, matt, metallic, holographic, fluo, chrome), logos and rider numbers. The full range of Honda maxi-scooter graphics kits for all models is accessible from the maxi-scooter graphics kits hub. Kits are removable without residue on a clean surface, making them a reversible customisation option for leased or resale bikes.

Premium vinyl for daily maxi-scooter use

X-ADV graphics kits are produced in automotive-grade vinyl at 200-300 microns for standard road use, or up to 550 microns in premium ranges, with UV-resistant lamination to withstand daily urban and touring conditions. Vinyl is sourced from 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery Dennison – brands used across the automotive and motorsport industries for colour stability and scratch resistance.

Each kit is pre-cut to the X-ADV bodywork panels for your specific generation. Application is done with a squeegee at room temperature; installation instructions are included with every order. For a coordinated look across the full bike, our helmet graphics kits cover matching decal sets for your helmet.

FAQ – Honda X-ADV Graphics Kit

What is the difference between the X-ADV 2017-2020 and the X-ADV 2021-2024 graphics kit?

The two kits use entirely different panel templates. The 2021 generation received a full bodywork redesign alongside Euro 5 engine updates, and the fairing geometry changed completely. A 2017-2020 kit cannot be fitted to a 2021-2024 X-ADV and vice versa. Always select the kit that matches your specific model year.

Are the graphics kits compatible with all Honda X-ADV 750 production years?

Yes. Kits are available for every X-ADV 750 production year from 2017 to the current model. Each generation (2017-2020, 2021-2024, 2025+) has its own dedicated template and product page, so you can find a perfectly fitting kit regardless of the year of your bike.

Can the same kit be used on a 2019 and a 2022 X-ADV?

No. The 2019 model belongs to the first generation (Euro 4, halogen lamps, LCD display) and the 2022 model belongs to the second generation (Euro 5, full LED, TFT screen, redesigned bodywork). The panel shapes are incompatible between the two generations, so separate kits are required.

What vinyl material is used, and what thickness?

Kits are produced in automotive-grade polymeric vinyl from 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery Dennison. Standard road-use kits are 200-300 microns thick with a UV-resistant laminate overlay. Premium ranges reach up to 550 microns for enhanced durability under demanding conditions.

Can I personalise the colours and design of my X-ADV graphics kit?

Yes. Every kit is built to order and fully customisable: colours, finishes (gloss, matt, metallic, holographic, fluo, chrome), layouts, logos and rider numbers. A digital design proof is sent for your approval before production begins.

How long does a graphics kit last on a maxi-scooter used daily?

Premium vinyl from 3M, Hexis or Oracal maintains its colour and texture over several years of daily use under normal riding conditions. Longevity depends on maintenance habits: avoid high-pressure direct washing of the graphics and do not use abrasive cleaning products. The UV laminate layer provides protection against sun-induced fading.

Is the X-ADV 2025 covered by the current graphics kits?

Yes. The 2025 X-ADV (Euro 5+, new dual-lens LED headlamps, USB-C) is covered by dedicated templates. This third-generation bodywork differs from both previous generations, so a specific 2025 template is required. Details are on the Honda ADV 2022 graphics kit page.

Can I fit the kit myself without professional help?

Yes. Installation is accessible without professional tools: a squeegee, a cleaning spray and a heat source (such as a hair dryer) are sufficient. Step-by-step instructions are included with every order. For panels with complex curves, careful slow application or a professional installer avoids air bubbles and misalignment.
