Yamaha sport road models covered

Stickers Project covers the full Yamaha R-series and MT-series with generation-specific graphic kits, from the R6 2008 to the MT-09 2024. Every kit is built from a fairing-accurate template – no universal fit, no guesswork.

R-series – R6, R1, R7

The R6 (YZF-R6) is the backbone of this category. We cover two distinct fairing generations: R6 2008-2016 graphic kit and R6 2017 graphic kit and later. These fairings are not interchangeable – selecting the correct generation is essential for a precise fit.

For the R1 (YZF-R1), three fairing generations are covered: R1 2009-2014 graphic kit, R1 2015-2019 graphic kit and R1 2020 graphic kit onward. The R1 suits both road and track use. For the R7 (YZF-R7, in production since 2021), contact us directly for availability – kits can be produced on request.

MT-series – MT-07, MT-09, MT-10

The MT-series covers Yamaha’s naked and hyper-naked street bikes. For the MT-07, three generations are available: MT-07 2014-2017 graphic kit, MT-07 2018-2020 graphic kit and MT-07 2021 graphic kit onward.

For the MT-09 (hyper-naked), four generations are covered: MT-09 2017-2020 graphic kit, MT-09 2021-2023 graphic kit and MT-09 2024 graphic kit. The MT-10 is covered in two ranges: MT-10 2015-2021 graphic kit and MT-10 2022 graphic kit onward.

Year compatibility – which kit fits your bike

Getting the right generation matters. R6 fairings from 2008-2016 are shaped differently from the 2017+ generation – templates from one generation will not align properly on the other. The same logic applies across all models.

A quick reference:

  • R6: 2008-2016 (one template) / 2017 onward (separate template)
  • R1: 2009-2014 / 2015-2019 / 2020 onward (three distinct generations)
  • MT-07: 2014-2017 / 2018-2020 / 2021 onward
  • MT-09: 2017-2020 / 2021-2023 / 2024 onward (2013-2016 on request)

Custom graphic kit options

Every kit can be personalized to fit your riding style and identity. Stickers Project works at two levels.

The road range uses clean lines and balanced contrasts – ideal for street riding with optional number, name or flag markings in matte or gloss finish. The track range draws from MotoGP and Superbike liveries, built for high visibility on circuit and optimized for R-series fairings. Both ranges support full-color customization, including fluorescent and matte options.

A visual proof is validated with you before production begins. Matching helmet graphic kits are also available if you want a coordinated look across your full setup.

Premium vinyl quality and durability

All Yamaha graphic kits are produced using polymer vinyl – a grade above the monomeric vinyl found on cheaper stickers. Polymer vinyl is built for outdoor long-term use: it handles UV exposure, repeated washing, hydrocarbons and engine heat without fading. Combined with premium inks and a protective laminate layer, outdoor durability reaches 5 to 7 years. By comparison, monomeric vinyl typically lasts 1 to 3 years.

Bubble-free technology and a repositionable adhesive make installation accurate and forgiving – including on complex fairing curves. All kits are custom motorcycle graphic kits made in France: design, production and quality control are handled in-house.

FAQ – Yamaha graphic kits

Which Yamaha sport bike models are covered?

R6 (2008-2016 and 2017+), R1 (2009-2014, 2015-2019, 2020+), MT-07 (2014-2017, 2018-2020, 2021+), MT-09 (2017-2020, 2021-2023, 2024+ – 2013-2016 on request) and MT-10 (2015-2021, 2022+). R7 available on request. XSR and Tracer on request.

What R6 model years are compatible with your graphic kits?

We cover the 2008-2016 generation and the 2017 onward generation. These are two separate templates – R6 fairings changed significantly in 2017 and the parts are not interchangeable. Select the correct year range when ordering.

What is the difference between a semi-custom and a fully custom kit?

A semi-custom kit starts from an existing design: you choose the colorway and can add a race number or name. A fully custom kit is built from scratch based on your design brief, with complete freedom over colors, shapes and markings. Lead times differ accordingly.

How long does a Yamaha graphic kit last outdoors?

With polymer vinyl and premium inks, outdoor durability is 5 to 7 years. This assumes standard conditions – UV exposure, regular riding, occasional washing. Monomeric vinyl, used by lower-grade suppliers, typically lasts 1 to 3 years.

Can I install the kit myself, or do I need a professional?

Self-installation is straightforward with the right prep. Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, work at 18-25°C, and use a soft squeegee. The repositionable adhesive gives you time to adjust before final press. For complex multi-panel bikes like the R1 or MT-09, a second pair of hands speeds up the process.

Do you ship to the US and UK, and what are the lead times?

Yes. Production takes 3 to 5 business days for standard kits and 10 business days for fully custom orders. Shipping times to the US and UK vary by carrier – contact us for a quote at checkout or via the contact form.

Are your kits for track use only or also for street riding?

Both. The road range is designed for everyday street use with balanced styling. The track range is built for circuit visibility with high-contrast liveries and optional race number layouts. R1 and R6 kits are available in both versions.
