The CRF 1100L Adventure Sports 2020-2023 is the second generation of the Africa Twin. Compared to the previous generation (998 cc), the engine displaces 1,084 cc thanks to a stroke extended by 6.4 mm. The 270-degree parallel twin, SOHC Unicam, produces 100.5 hp (75 kW) at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 105 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The Adventure Sports version stands apart from the standard model with its larger 24.8 L tank, Showa EERA semi-active electronic suspension and tubeless spoked wheels. Front wheel: 21 inches; rear wheel: 18 inches. Available in either a 6-speed manual gearbox (238 kg kerb weight) or automatic DCT transmission (248 kg kerb weight).

The 2020 generation introduced a larger 1,084 cc engine (up from 998 cc), a bigger 24.8 L tank and reshaped bodywork. No. The CRF 1100L Adventure Sports produces 75 kW, well above the 35 kW A2 limit. Honda does not offer a restricted version of this model, so it requires a full A licence.
