What Makes the BMW F800R 2015-2020 Different

The 2015 restyled F800R received a parallel twin 798 cc engine producing 90 hp (66 kW) at 8,000 rpm – a clear step up from the previous 2009-2014 generation. Torque reaches 86 Nm at 5,800 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and chain final drive. Top speed is 218 km/h. The internal chassis code K73 identifies this generation precisely. The side panels, radiator covers, front mudguard and wheels were all redesigned for the 2015 model year, making this template incompatible with pre-2015 bodywork.

All F800R models produced between 2015 and 2020 share the same K73 bodywork template. A kit ordered for a 2015 bike will therefore fit a 2017 or 2019 model without any adjustment.
