The 1290 Super Adventure R 2021-2024 graphic kit is designed for the second generation of the Super Adventure R, identifiable by its redesigned fairing, new steel trellis frame, lowered tank for a lower centre of gravity and enriched on-board electronics (cruise control, riding modes). This bodywork is distinct from the 2017-2020 generation. If your bike was registered between 2021 and 2024, this template is the correct one.
The KTM 1290 Super Adventure R 2021-2024 is powered by a 75-degree V-twin LC8 engine displacing 1,301 cc, producing 160 hp (118 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 138 to 140 Nm of torque, liquid-cooled, 6-speed gearbox. Bore x stroke: 108 x 71 mm, compression ratio 13.1:1. The R version is adventure and off-road oriented, with a 21-inch spoked front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel, WP XPLOR long-travel suspension with manual adjustment – which sets it apart from the S version on 19/17-inch wheels with semi-active suspension. Weight is approximately 245 kg fully fuelled. This bike is not eligible for the A2 licence: its 118 kW exceeds the 70 kW threshold above which restriction to 35 kW is not permitted.
