Every SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 graphic kit listed here is made in France to order, in premium vinyl from 200 to 300 microns thick, cut from a template built specifically for the “The Beast 2.0” generation restyled in 2017. This template covers model years 2017, 2018 and 2019, which share the same bodywork introduced with the 2017 update – aggressive full LED headlight with its distinctive insect-like look, clearly different from the 2014-2016 generation.

Every kit is fully custom: colours, finishes, logos and race numbers to your specifications. A digital proof is sent to you for approval before production begins. 10 designs are available in the catalogue. Select your design below and configure your kit.

The Beast 2.0 Generation: which template fits your SuperDuke 1290?

The SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 graphic kit is designed for the “The Beast 2.0” generation, identified by its full LED headlight with an aggressive insect-soldier look, distinct from the 2014-2016 headlight unit. This generation is an unfaired hyper-roadster: the graphic kit covers the tank, side panels, front cowl, mudguard, radiator scoops and rear tail unit. If your bike was registered between 2017 and 2019, this template is the right fit.

What sets the SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 apart

The KTM SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 is powered by the 75-degree V-twin LC8 engine, 1,301 cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, DOHC with 4 valves per cylinder, 56 mm injection, Euro 4. The LC8 unit was revised for this generation with a new crankshaft, reworked cylinder head, titanium inlet valves, a raised compression ratio of 13.6:1 and intake pipes shortened by 10 mm – gains estimated at around 4 hp to reach 177 hp (130 kW) at 9,750 rpm and 141 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Bore x stroke: 108 x 71 mm. The riding position was also made more aggressive in 2017: the handlebar is 20 mm wider, 5 mm lower and 18.5 mm further forward. Electronics include cruise control as standard, lean-angle-sensitive traction control, ride-by-wire, cornering ABS and an optional quickshifter.

Year compatibility: 2017 to 2019

The three model years 2017, 2018 and 2019 share the same “The Beast 2.0” bodywork – a single template covers the entire generation. If your SuperDuke 1290 was registered in any of these years, the graphic kit on this page fits your bike perfectly.

Got a different model year or another KTM street bike?

If your bike is a SuperDuke 1290 from 2014 to 2016, the 2017-2019 template does not fit. For other KTM street and track models, check out the KRAMER GP2 890 RR GRAPHIC KIT or the KRAMER GP2 890 R GRAPHIC KIT. The full KTM street range is available in our KTM brand hub.

Custom graphics, made in France

Every SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 graphic kit is produced in France to order. Nothing is pre-made in stock: the template is cut on demand to the exact dimensions of the 2017-2019 bodywork and the customisation options you provide at checkout.

Standard kit or fully custom kit

The standard kit uses a pre-built design from the catalogue, available in several colour schemes including KTM factory orange. The fully custom kit is created by our graphic designers from your brief: free colour choice, logos, race number, matte, gloss, satin or carbon-effect finishes. In both cases, a digital proof is sent before production for approval and adjustments. A professional fitting service is also available for the larger body panels of the SuperDuke 1290. You can also browse our street and track bike graphics category hub for more options.

Materials: premium vinyl for the hyper-roadster

SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 graphic kits are produced in high-resistance automotive vinyl from brands 3M, Hexis, Oracal or Avery, at a thickness of 200 to 300 microns. A UV-laminate layer protects colours from fading caused by sun exposure and the heat and road debris associated with high-output street riding and track use.

Application is carried out with a squeegee at room temperature. The vinyl is repositionable during fitting, allowing precise alignment before final bonding. Kits are removable without residue on a clean body panel. To complete your build with a coordinated look, see also our helmet graphic kits. The RC-8C 2022 Graphic kit is another option from our KTM catalogue if you are looking for additional models.

FAQ – SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 Graphic Kit

Does this kit fit my SuperDuke 1290 2018?

Yes. The template on this page covers all model years 2017, 2018 and 2019 of the SuperDuke 1290, which share the same “The Beast 2.0” bodywork. Your 2018 is fully compatible.

What is the difference between the 2014-2016 and the 2017-2019 generation?

The 2017-2019 generation received a significant restyling with a full LED headlight featuring an aggressive insect-soldier design, a revised LC8 engine (new crankshaft, titanium inlet valves, 13.6:1 compression ratio) and a more aggressive riding position. The templates for both generations are not interchangeable.

Is the SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019 A2 licence compatible?

No. The SuperDuke 1290 produces 177 hp (130 kW), which far exceeds the 70 kW threshold above which power restriction to 35 kW is prohibited. It requires a full A category motorcycle licence with no power restriction.

How many graphic kit designs are available for this model?

10 designs are available in the catalogue for the SuperDuke 1290 2017-2019. Each design is customisable in colours, finishes and graphic additions according to your preferences.

Can I get a kit that replicates the original KTM colours or one that is fully custom?

Both options are available. The standard kit reproduces colour schemes close to KTM factory finishes, including the signature orange. The fully custom kit lets you define every colour freely, with a digital proof sent for approval before production starts.

What materials are used to make the graphic kits?

Kits are produced in automotive vinyl from brands 3M, Hexis, Oracal or Avery, at a thickness of 200 to 300 microns, with UV lamination. This thickness rating is suited to the demands of a high-output hyper-roadster, including heat generated by the LC8 V-twin engine and road exposure during intensive street or track use.
