The KTM 1290 Super Duke R 2020-2023 is the third generation of the Beast platform. The LC8 V-twin displaces 1301 cc and delivers 180 bhp (132 kW) at 9,500 rpm with 140 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The 2020 restyle brings a trellis frame announced as three times stiffer in torsion and 2 kg lighter, a 6-axis IMU (6D) managing cornering ABS, traction control and anti-wheelie, revised WP Apex suspension with a linkage rear shock, and a total weight saving of 5 kg. The restyled fairing – sharper and more minimalist – requires its own dedicated template.
The 1290 Super Duke R bodywork is consistent across the entire 2020-2023 generation. A graphic kit produced on this template fits a Super Duke R 2020, 2021, 2022 or 2023 without modification. The generation – not the exact model year – is what determines template compatibility.

This generation has 12 catalogue designs: KTM signature orange, full black matte, aggressive two-tone and fully custom. Each is a configurable starting point – colours, finishes and logos are adjustable before the proof is produced and production begins.
Kits are produced on premium automotive vinyl – brands include 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery Dennison – at 200 to 300 microns thickness for road use. Each kit is finished with an anti-UV laminate to protect printed colours over multiple seasons. Application is done with a squeegee at room temperature; the vinyl is repositionable during installation, which reduces errors without prior experience. Removal leaves no adhesive residue on clean, degreased factory bodywork and does not affect the original paint.
