The template is purpose-built for the DL800DE generation launched in 2023 – covering side fairings, front mudguard and rear tail section with the characteristic enduro-style beak front. The result is a precise fit with no rough edges or gaps on your adventure trail bike.

The V-Strom 800 DE 2023 is the first generation to receive Suzuki’s brand-new in-house parallel-twin engine – a 776 cc unit with a 270-degree crankshaft firing interval. This is a genuinely new architecture for the V-Strom range, moving away from the historic V-twin layout and sharing the engine block with the GSX-8S. Output stands at 84.3 hp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. The factory A2 version is restricted to 35 kW (47 hp) and can be unrestricted to the full 62 kW by a manufacturer kit.
On the chassis side, the DL800DE stands out with a 21-inch spoked front wheel, the longest suspension travel and the highest ground clearance in the V-Strom range – fully justifying the “DE” (Dual Explorer) badge. Electronic equipment includes a 5-inch colour TFT dashboard, ride-by-wire throttle, Up&Down quickshifter and switchable Gravel traction control, all under the SIRS system.
The DL800DE template covers 2023 and onwards (2023-2026 to date). It is not compatible with earlier V-Strom generations, which use different fairing shapes and dimensions.

V-Strom 800 DE graphic kits are produced in 200 to 300 micron vinyl, sourced from reference manufacturers including 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery. A UV-resistant laminate layer is applied as standard to protect colours from prolonged sun exposure and mud – the everyday reality of a bike built for off-road use.
Application is straightforward with a standard squeegee and soapy water – no specialist tools required. The vinyl is removable without residue on original plastics, so you can return to the factory look if needed. Yes, the DL800DE template covers all model years from 2023 onwards (2023-2026 to date). It was developed specifically for the fairing design introduced with this first generation of the 776 cc parallel-twin engine. Earlier V-Strom generations use different fairing shapes and are not compatible with this template.
The V-Strom 800 DE 2023 (DL800DE) introduces an entirely new engine architecture: a 776 cc parallel-twin with a 270-degree crank interval, replacing the V-twin found in other V-Strom models. It also has a more off-road focused chassis than the 650 and 1050, with a 21-inch spoked front wheel and greater ground clearance. Fairing templates are not interchangeable between generations.
Yes. The factory A2 version restricted to 35 kW (47 hp) uses exactly the same fairing panels as the unrestricted 84 hp model. The graphic kit is identical for both – only the mechanical mapping differs.

Kits are produced in 200 to 300 micron vinyl using references from brands including 3M, Hexis, Oracal and Avery depending on availability and chosen finish. UV lamination is applied as standard. The vinyl is applied with a squeegee and is removable without leaving residue on original plastic panels.
