This category covers graphics kits for the BMW R 1250 GS (ShiftCam 1254cc engine, model years 2019 to 2023), the dual-purpose adventure that succeeded the R 1200 GS and was replaced by the R 1300 GS at the end of 2023. Fitting a graphics kit to a BMW GS requires matching the pattern to the exact model variant and year, as fairing shapes differ between the R 1200 GS (up to 2018), the R 1250 GS (2019-2023) and the R 1300 GS (from 2024). Ordering the wrong year template results in misaligned cuts and poor panel fitment.
The R 1250 GS uses BMW Motorrad’s ShiftCam boxer twin, displacing 1254cc (bore 102.5mm x stroke 76mm), producing 136 hp (100 kW) at 7750 rpm and 143 Nm at 6250 rpm. ShiftCam is BMW’s first boxer engine with electronic variable valve timing.
